APPLIED RESEARCH CENTER

The Institute's Applied Research Center (ARC) assists decision makers to better serve children, families, and communities. The ARC works with local, state, and national governmental units and with nonprofit organizations to collect, analyze, and use information for making better decisions.

Types of studies include:

  • Community assessments, 
  • Planning studies, 
  • Problem-solving strategy development, 
  • Program evaluation.
  • Survey research 
  • Focus groups 
  • Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping 
  • Statistical analysis 
  • Mixed-mode analysis.
